Thierry Loa is Dr. Hello and conducts creative coding.
Having studied Mathematics and Physics (Cambridge A-Level Program), he was then introduced to programming while in University (Curtin, AUS) -- Lingo, HTML, JavaScript, ActionScript -- and has ever since built interest in and been working with Flash ActionScript. He first started using ActionScript for conducting experimental visual and interactive work; he presently does the lead Flash programming on the HelloHello!! new media projects.
A few years ago, he started exploring another programming tool named MAX/MSP Jitter -- for creating real-time (video) image manipulation -- and also a Flash-based 3D engine technology, Papervision3D, which he implemented in one of his commercial projects -- &Co Architects (www.AndCo.com) |
